The Most Compact Little Flat in Barcelona

Clever use of limited space in a Barcelona flat

Retro iPhone Clock Dock

Nice retro design. But as it has no other function than to dock your phone (no, that's not an actual speaker on top), it is only a piece of attractive wood. Don't want to sound like a bleeding heart liberal but I'm not entirely convinced it's the most responsible use of our a limited supply of natural resources. That said, we surround ourselves with otherwise "useless" objets made mostly of organic materials because they create a warmer domestic environment next to our plastic TVs or other home appliances. So why couldn't a retro iPhone clock made of wood that reminds us of a bygone era when things seemed to have a bit more soul?

Fergus Henderson in the Evening Standard

Fergus Henderson, head chef/proprietor of St. John's restaurants and now hotel, in a crumpled pinstriped suit made out of butcher's aprons and scruffy brogues. Always liked his Jean-Paul Sartre-spectacled look but this is the first time he's publicly forsaken his white chef's coat for something entirely more stylish. That suit rocks!
